Forest God
A boy goes into the woods to find food for his family but finds a lost city along with something else.
Synopsis
A story about how a boy attempting to help his family get some extra food due to failing crops; encounters a long forgotten god. The boy and his parents live on a farmstead far from society and with winter approaching they need to start stockpiling food. As he sets out to the forest to search for fruits and berries he passes his father working the farm with most of the crops failing due to the land being unsuitable. While the boy finds some food upon entering the forest it isn’t enough which pushes him to go deeper into the forest, where he finds something mysterious and initially scary the god, despite appearances, offers benevolence.
